These muffins are filled with freshly chopped sweet strawberries in a cinnamony-lemony batter.

A lemon-streusel bakes into the top of the muffin.Success! A yummy tasting muffin, we had these for breakfast for a few days. They kept well in a covered tupperware, and they stayed moist and fresh.
'Tis the season to utilize berries for baking... I'm beginning to see some really nice blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and, of course, strawberries. If you haven't stopped by Mike's Table today, he's got a wonderful round-up of strawberry recipes for his Strawberry Seduction event.

ReplyDeleteYou know my stance on strawberries, lol! Those muffins look sinfully delicious and the glaze sounds like just the thing to bring it all together--the sweet, the tart, etc. I could certainly see why muffin-time is always a happy time.

These look like amazing muffins. I love blueberry muffins, but I've never tried putting strawberries in them. As soon as strawberries come in season around here I'll have to make these.
